Pamela Piotrowski
is a Registered Dietitian and active member of the Dietitians of Canada and the College of Dietitians of Ontario. With over 20 years of experience, she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Guelph and completed a Clinical Dietetic Internship.

She has worked as a clinical Dietitian in both inpatient and outpatient environments as well as being a consultant for various non-profit health agencies. Currently, she works in a primary care setting at a Family Health Team helping individuals manage their chronic illness and symptoms with nutrition and promoting healthy lifestyles to reduce the risk of complications and side effects from various treatments.

Pamela has been a guest speaker at local, provincial and national conferences to promote the benefits of good nutrition for various health issues.

Good nutrition is one of the key parts to staying healthy and eating is one of the best things life has to offer. Food nourishes your mind and body. It gives you the energy to get through each day and aids in the recover from illness and injuries and it is an important part of getting together with family and friends. Maintaining a healthy balance of food and physical activity will also help you stay at a healthy body weight without needing to diet.

Today, more and more research is proving that a healthy diet can also help you manage the symptoms and side effects associated with various medical conditions as well as reduce your risk of developing conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, hypertension and some forms of cancer.
